Step 1
Open a MAXA membership online*.
*Do you need to add a joint person to your account? Click here.
*Do you need to add a Power of Attorney (POA) to your account? Click here.
Step 2
Make your first deposit – using one of the following options:
- You can fund your MAXA Financial account using online banking or our MAXA Financial Mobile App by:
- Electronic Funds Transfer is available within MAXA Financial Online Banking.
Step 3
Watch for confirmation in the mail!
Once we receive your online application, we will follow up with a confirmation email. Your MAXA Financial account must be funded with a minimum $5 membership share within 30 days of opening the account.
How to Register for TFSA, RRSP and RRIF Products
Log in to your MAXA Financial Online Banking account to register for TFSA, RRSP and RRIF products.
Current MAXA members holding joint accounts wishing to open a registered account are required to purchase an additional $5 membership share and open an individual account. Registered products must be held under individual accounts.
