COVID-19 Update. We are here to help.

We understand the growing concern surrounding the COVID-19 virus across our communities and our country and we are here for our members during this difficult time. We want to reassure you; MAXA Financial is here to support our members and employees. Everyone’s health and safety is our priority as we continue to monitor the situation.

 

Our team is watching updates from the World Health Organization and the Public Health Agency of Canada to ensure our actions are aligned with the most up to date information. MAXA Financial is a division of Westoba Credit Union and we have plans in place to ensure you continue to have an uninterrupted banking experience:

  • Give us a call – As always you can reach out to our support team at 1-866-366-MAXA to answer your questions, or provide you with the following:
    • Assistance with completing account opening documentation or answering questions about our products.
    • Details on account information.
    • Purchase or renew GIC, TFSA, RRSP, RRIF investments.
    • Transfer funds between MAXA products.
  • Mobile App/Online Banking – MAXA members can continue to bank from any location with online banking or our MAXA Financial Mobile App. Using these tools, you can:
    • Review account activity.
    • Transfer funds.
    • Send, Receive, Request or Autodeposit e-Transfers.
    • Deposit cheques by taking a picture with Deposit Anywhere using the Mobile App.
    • Pay bills.
  • Social Distancing – our team is practicing social distancing within our workplace by spreading our staff out to maintain the physical distance recommended by health organizations at this time. We are supporting them to work from home when possible.
  • Continue to bank securely – a reminder to continue to practice safe banking and protect your personal and financial information. Click here to learn more.
